3 Low waste products that won’t interrupt your life

Let’s be real for a quick second. Some “low waste goods” are super worth it and genuinely help out, others are just an over astheticized way to feel cute and earthy. Nonetheless, I have recently stumbled upon and fallen in love with a few I’d like to share.

Bamboo Toothbrushes

Yeah, that toothbrush you have hanging out in your bathroom, it’s made up of plastics, rubbers, and even crude oil, that are harmful contributions to both soil and human health.

I wasn’t sure how I would like the bamboo texture or brush, but I actually love using it ( and so does Hunter ). Also in case anyone is concerned, these are made from moso bamboo which grows at a rapid rate and pandas don’t eat it!

Cloth Produce Bags

I recently found a pack of these at a local shop and have been obsessed ever since! You all know I love me my tote bags, but taking them to the grocery store only to fill them with plastic produce bags felt a bit off.

For me, these are much more efficient because once you get home, just throw them up on a hook with your produce in it (most produce does not need to be refrigerated). Plus, who likes opening those plastic walmart produce bags anyways.

Non-Plastic Straws

Now I KNOW everyone hates paper straws and their texture, but there is nothing better than a cold stainless steel straw when you are drinking a smoothie! Plus glass straws are naturally a very clean, slow bacteria spreading surface.

Plus for a couple like us who love to camp and travel, having the least amount of trash possible is a huge plus.
