The art of how to “Just Go”

I have heard that many people are “living through us” watching our spontaneous adventures and building our small mobile coffee shop.

While that is super exciting and thank you all for coming along for this wild ride of ours, why are you living through us? What is it that is drawing you to our lifestyle? Why are you craving something new, exciting, or different? Do you think your time to explore has passed, or are you wary of leaving the comforts that come with modern daily living.

When most people run the idea of living in the mountains out of their new subaru for a month through their head, they think about the stress, things going wrong, the inconveniences that come with it. I am so unafraid to fail because I know that when that is all we had, that is when we were at our happiest and most free. We realize that if things go wrong and we take a wrong turn, that we were meant to find what ever is at the end of that road.

We cannot look at life like a series of failures and successes, but opportunities. Opportunities are born out of victories and strife, and often times, the quick, end of your rope decision you make out of strife will be the one that leads to the most obscure destinations.

Here is another mental trick to get you more spontaneous right now, okay, whenever you are facing something, or you just have the itch to hop in the car and go, ask yourself this. “If I do this right now, will it matter this time next year, if no, then go ahead and go for it, and if yes, then ask yourself if it put you in a better place”. This allows you to put in perspective the things you are missing out on because of the immediate inconvenience you create around it.

Let go of the perceived opinions, when you’re 90 you won’t be thanking yourself for living for others and ignoring your own intuition and desires.

There’s more out there than resorts, pools, and happy hour.

There are places to be seen, roads to be traveled, mountains to climb, waters to explore, people to meet, food to try, and so much to learn.

You’re not stuck

You are always 1 decision away from a totally different life
