How this young couple turned a run down camper into their dream coffee shop
This reality began as nothing more than a dream, taped out on our dining room floor.

When we started advertising the Northwoods’ first mobile coffee shop last weekend, we couldn’t believe we were finally debuting our dream to the world.
Because this is what we started with
We found this $300 gem on the side of the road during a walk one evening last Fall. We called the owner on the spot and offered them a check, later the next day, it was taken down to Mellen for construction.
May 2nd the weather was finally nice enough to begin building. So when we say we built it, I mean BUILT IT. The old vintage style camper was torn down to nothing more than the towing metal.
Hunter and his dad spent about 18 weekends Building our Mobile Coffee Shop with all the commercial fixens needed to run.
Everything was done by hand, from designing the exterior angles of the build at 1am in our living room to laminating our own countertops, we touched every piece of this project, and we love that.
Just like people would assume to come from Hunter and I, we designed something even pinterest hadn’t showed us. We took our love for simplistic modern design and natural color pallets and drew this up over fried potatoes one Saturday morning. Since then we only love it more and more.
We built the logo on the couch one night after watching a modern homes show online and being inspired by the alternative approach to architecture, we took a unique path to define “antler” visually in an emblem.
With a bright yellow espresso machine to top off the modern, raw, industrial vibe, the coffee shop was complete. Seeing it fully set up with all the small touches, is what really brings it to life. The ivory garland, the plants, jute rug, chairs, menu board, shirts, and music, make this everything we could have dreamed of.
All we can say is, if you have an idea, something pulling at you constantly, listen to it, go after it, and make it a reality.
If you happen to be in the WI northwoods, or Bayfield Peninsula area, we would love to meet and serve you!
