Delicious Salt Free Vegan Pasta Dish
If there is one thing we consume way too much of as a society, it’s sodium, and not the natural kind found in celery, no no no, the table salt we dump on every dish to “enhance” flavor. Well, here is a SALT FREE pasta dish only seasoned with natural whole ingredients. I can attest…it was delicious
This recipe took me a hot 15 mins to make and is also really easy to customize, you could have less noodles and more veggies, or any sauce your little heart desires!
Okay I know ya’ll are just here for the recipe so hop to it Annalisa
Here we go
Recipe
Angel Hair Pasta (I love it because it is so light in texture that I don’t feel over full and heavy afterwards)
1 1/2 Cup Frozen or fresh broccoli (throw these in the boiling noodles about 3 mins before they are done to soften them up, release the fresh flavors, and only cooking them for a couple mins will avoid losing nutrient density.
1/4 Cup Dried Cranberries (yes ladies and gents these are GREAT in pasta! add these in after your broccoli so they soften up and bring the sugars to the surface)
After You Cook and Drain the Broccoli, Noodles, and Cranberries
Just a disclaimer, I use infused olive oil, and an infused white balsamic vinegar but regular Olive, or Grapeseed oil with herbs would be great too. I highly encourage you do try out some infused vinegars and oils, they are a great replacement for heavy dairy sauces and dressings and offer loads of health benefits.
1/4 Cup Honey Roasted Pistachios (you can find these guys at Sams Club they are my new absolute fav snack and add on to meals to up the nutrient game)
1 TBSP Basil Infused Virgin Olive Oil (you can find this at almost any specialty food store)
2 TBSP Honey Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar (this is the best stuff in the WORLD ya’ll)
