Take My Healthy Vegan Grocery List With You

This is an actual photo of my fridge after our last Sams Club haul.  I am also listing pantry items and other goods.  PLUS I am going to tell you EXACTLY how much it all costs and how long it lasts us.  Healthy living is always a budgeting game for people knowing where to start and what is actually good.  Alright let’s get into it shall we.

Fridge Produce

Vine Tomatoes
1 Pack of 6 Heads Romaine
1 Case 7 Mangos
1 Case Portobello Mushrooms
1 Case (about 9) Kiwi
2 Ripe Avocados
1 Head Cauliflower
1 Large Bag Carrots
1 Bag (about 6-7)  Long Peppers

Freezer

Morning Star Black Bean Veggie Burgers
Frozen Berry Mix (blackberries, raspberries, strawberries)
Frozen Blueberries

Pantry

1 Large (15 lbs) White Potatoes
1 Large Bag Honey Roasted Pistachios
Off the Eaten Path Chickpea Crackers

Let’s Talk Stats and Budget

This will last us about 2 1/2 weeks given that we already have bread, noodles, rice noodles, rice paper, and of course rice.  We have had so many fun combos of warm cozy meals in the evenings (last night we had noodles and baked vegetables) and we can have fresh sandwiches, salads, and smoothie bowls for lunch.

In total, this cost us about $100.  If that sounds like a lot, check your last receipt from shopping and see how much you spent and how long it will last you.  This means, we could eat for about $300 total each month assuming we restocked everything each month.  The average American spends around the same all the way up to $500 a month.

If you want to start eating healthy but cannot add produce to your existing list, replace your soda with produce.  Soda tops list every time as the #1 item we spend money on.  Cut the chips and pop and cereal etc.

Well hey thanks so much for hanging out and improving your  lifestyle!  It gets fun I promise, but please reach out with questions or if you want me to decipher a label for you hit a girl up!
