My Guide to Perfect Chia Pudding

I’ve gotta be honest with ya’ll real quick, until this point in life, I had never made Chia Pudding. I know I know, worst Vegan Blogger EVER!

I wasn’t sure how I would like it or if it had a funky texture. I also assumed it was one of those trendy health foods that we have to pretend to like for aesthetics purposes.

I have never been so wrong, and so happy about it.

I know you area all here for the recipe and to find out if it is actually as easy as they all say it is.

Well, ya girl HATES measuring and recipes that require perfect ratios (if ya couldn’t tell) I did what I always do, I winged it and totally won.

My little bowl had about 1 part chia seeds and 2 parts water (I was out of oat milk you can use any liquid on the planet)

After making this several times over the last 2 weeks, I have mastered some hacks that you need ASAP so let’s get started!

Recipe

  • 2 TBSP Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Plant Based Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Water (instead of water, I add Chai tea and it KILLS)
  • Let it sit for about 2 hours (or overnight if you are prepping it for your next breakfast)

Toppings

Toppings will make or break your nutritional value and I say load it up!

  • Cacao Nibs
  • Frozen Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Raw Cinnamon
  • Toasted Coconut Flakes

Mix it all up and Enjoy! As you get more comfortable making it, feel free to play around with flavor profiles and be sure to tag me in your version at the_vegan_tulleshed I LOVE seeing your creations!
