The Snobby Girls Guide to Home Brew Gear

Hey Hey Girl

If Covid has forced our hand in any way, how we get our coffee fix each day is one of them. I own a coffee shop and love a good home bar so I’m here to give you my favorite brew gear to up your home brewista game.

Pourover

I am a firm believer in pour-overs, Chemex or cone pour-overs to be exact. So the first must have for this coffee bar is a Chemex.

Kettle

Listen okay, we use this for so much more than just brewing coffee but the precision of the gooseneck stagg from Fellow Products is the home barista’s best friend.

Scale

The precision of a good pour over recipe is monitored by Grams on a scale. Feel free to snag any food scale but I personally love the bamboo food scale from walmart

Mugs

Because what’s a good cup of coffee without a good carrier. Ceramic or glass mugs are most common for the basic in house serving mug. However, when we get in to the wide world of “to go” cups, insulated ones often have a metal interior which can not only stain, but change the flavor of your hot brew. Try to opt for a glass or ceramic interior on your to go mugs.

Use this product guide to improve your morning fuel and create a calming process to begin your day.

Happy Brewing
