The Healthy Girl Guide To Late Night Snacking
Let’s be real, Fall is on the way and cozy late night snacking is about to become a serious past-time. My healthy hack recipe is not about to become your favorite snack, but also your favorite easy bowl to bring to events.
We have all heard that popcorn is a great low calorie treat, but they are analyzing real, stove top, in a pan, popcorn. Sorry Movie Butter Microwave Popcorn, you are full of scary ingredients that totally ruin the point.
Meet my healthy, Chile Garlic Popcorn Recipe in 3….2….
Chile Garlic Popcorn
- Any Stove Top Bag of Popcorn Kernels will Work (seriously a whole bag is like $3.00)
- Grapeseed Oil (I use it because it is super neutral in flavor but olive oil will totally work too)
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Paprika
- Chile Powder
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- In a Large pan (wok pans work great) put 1/3 cup of kernels in it and place it on high heat with a lid on
- While it is heating up put about 4 tbsp of oil into a wet ingredients measuring cup
- Use the seasonings as you would like and add them to the oil in the measuring cup
- Once the popcorn starts popping, shake back and forth on the stove until it is finished
- Put about half the popcorn into your bowl, swirl the oil and spices and drizzle half of the mix onto your popcorn
- Add the next half of your popcorn and finish drizzling your oil and spices on top
- mix if needed
